Turned down leasing
Good enough credit score, plenty of money to make payments, refused lease they lie, don't shop here, plus commercials lie, zero down, $99 a month, I do not care about the payment, they would only sell, and only wanted to sell me used, no other dealership in Toledo did this. It's all about commission and being pushy, the even on used wanted 2500 down, 300 a month, they need to put away the crack pipe, remember, customer gets what they want, do not need a salesman to sell me what I don't want.
User's recommendation: Stay away

The one they sent is dated 7/23/21. Thanks From Viola Conley, Central location.

Preferred solution: A copy of bill dated 9/9/21.

Don't go there! They are liars and cheat and misrepresent everything. Scam and beat you down.
They sold us a car that was "NEW", but had 3000 miles on it and told us that it was used as a test car. They would give us a good deal and provide us with insurance on tires and paint at no cost.
Said they would give us the 2016 Kia Soul for 16,000. They throw paper work around in front of you and have you sign, telling you that you already know what was discussed, you really don't get to look at anything. The financing was increased from 4 to 6 years which I just found out, and they added all kinds of insurances to the figures (which they said were free).
Now we have a car we have to pay on for 3 more years and still owe more than the original price quoted. They are crooks and lie like crazy.

Don't buy it
My car has given me engine problems and now I have a problem with the headlights and it is a new 2019 Kia Forte

Waste of Time. Dishonest. Condesending.
The salesman implied that the deal we were looking for was possible to encorage us to take the hour plus trip to the dealership. Once there, they offerred 30% less for my trade than what their own online tools calculated and increased the cost of the vehicle we wanted to purchased.
When I brought up the conversation we had on the phone, the salesman actually laughed at us and said he would have never said that.
The entire experience was negative and I will never give them the opportunity to earn our business in the future. In the end, it didn't have anything to do with the money, it was a matter of integrity, which we take very seriously.
Strung Along
In early December a Taylor Kia employee stopped into Precast Concrete in Blissfield, Michigan to inquire about my 2016 Promaster cargo van which I had parked there to sell it. He said he was interested in purchasing it for a parts truck.
I followed up with both a phone call and an email. I received a call from Kirk requesting that I bring it into the Central Avenue, Toledo dealership to have it appraised. Although I agreed, I made it crystal clear the I was not interested in purchasing any more cars, and that I could not sell it for less than my pay off of $23,125. I had suffered a serious leg and foot injury coupled with double bypass heart surgery rendering me unable to drive commercially.
On December 18, I drove my truck 35 miles to the Toledo dealership, and while en route I received a phone call from Kirk confirming my appointment. I met with Moe, the used car manager, who appraised my van. While I sat in his office I heard him sing the praises of my van to the parts manager. Moe said it was immaculate, well maintained, at good price, and he recommended it for purchase.
He then informed me that Mr. Taylor would need to sign off on the purchase, and Moe would be calling me back as soon as he made contact with Mr. Taylor. After numerous follow up calls, Kirk finally called me back on January 4 to inform me that Mr.
Taylor said that the price was too high and decided to pass. Not only was the price established from the get go, but also it was posted on the side of the van.
I do not understand what happened to negate the purchase, but this decision could have been made three weeks prior without stringing me along. Somehow I cannot believe that Taylor Kia makes all its auto business decisions in this similar fashion.
THEY LIE TO GET YOU TO THE DEALERSHIP
I CALLED AND ASKED TO SPEAK WITH THE NEW CAR SALES MANAGER I GOT (ANGEL) HIS ASSIANT SHE TOLD ME TO GO TO THE DEALERSHIP IN TOLEDO AND THE SALES MANAGER WOULD MEET ME THERE AT 11:30 TO GIVE ME AN APPRAISAL ON MY CAR, I GET THERE AND I AM TOLD THAT HE IS NOT THERE AND IN FACT HE WOULD NOT BE IN ALL TODAY. SO I WASTED AN HOUR AND HALF AT THE DEALERSHIP ONLY TO BE TOLD NO, AFTER ANGEL TOLD ME THAT WITH MY CAR AND THE DEALERSHIP GIVING ME 8500 OVER BLUE VAULE THAT I WAS APPROVED, WELL THAT WAS A LIE.
AND AS FOR TRYING TO GET MR STEVE TAYLOR RETURNING A PHONE CALL THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN HE IS TO BUSY ON THE GOLF COURSE AND OR AT THE BAR.
WHEN YOUR FATHER HAS A BIG BANK ACCOUNT BY RIPPING PEOPLE OFF WHAT DOES HE OR HIS DAD CARE ABOUT WASTING THE TIME OF THE LITTLE PEOPLE. STEVE TAYLOR SAYS HE IS A DEALER FOR THE PEOPLE THAT IS A JOKE LISTEN TO HIS ADS ALL THE WAY TO THE END YOU WILL SEE HOW HE COVERS HIS ***, I AM GOING TO PUT TAYLOR KIA ON BLAST BOTH ON HERE AND ON SOCIAL MEDIA THE PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW THAT THIS DEALERSHIP DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR TIME.

You will have your time wasted and be bullied.
Nice enough salesman, but not helpful as far as knowledge about the vehicle. I was straight forward about what we were looking for, other offers we'd received and what we wanted to spend.
Felt a bit degraded when he decided to tell me the value of the car we were interested in, saying they already had it priced below trade in value. Ummmm...okay then don't sell it to me for what I can afford, it isn't rocket science. After dinking around showing me paper after paper of what the value of the vehicle was I started to gather my things. He then said what number would make us earn your business.
I gave him the number, same number I gave before. He went back to the secret room (for the 3rd time) and came back with a guy that was pretty disrespectful. Again, trying to make me feel bad for offering what I could afford (and was a fair price as I've been shopping around and had two other dealers quote me the same price for similar vehicle). He did come down another $400 (after I was told they couldn't do any better the first two rounds).
When I said no he started to actually be a bully. Holding onto my car keys and telling me what a great deal this was, asking who wore the pants in my marriage. It was ridiculous.
Too many options to tolerate that behavior. At that point they could of given us the car for free and we'd of said no.
Taylor Kia - 2014 Ford Focus Car Review from Tyler, Texas
In November of 2015 I purchased a 2014 Ford Focus from Kia of Lima. Never was I told about 2 recalls and a transmission issue.
2 days after my purchase I took the car back my salesman Dave eversole told me this is how the car is supposed to run. Upon acceleration it jerks it cuts off it jerks forward and suddenly will lock up at any time. I have been back
to Kia numerous times with same issue was told to take it to a Ford dealership took it to 2 issue still not resolved. I am stuck at this point with this piece of *** and no options or help at this time.
My advice to anyone seeking a new or used vehicle would be stay away from Kia of Lima do not deal with this dealership. They only look out for themselves and once the sale is made they could care less about you as a customer and are not willing to work with you anyway to make right anything that may be wrong.
They lie do not disclose the true things wrong with the vehicles they are trying to sell you. Stay away from Kia of Lima.
Really pissed
I had checked out pre-owned vehicles on the Taylorauto.com site.I knew exactly which vehicles I wanted to see.As soon as I mentioned them, the salesman told me that those weren't for sale and they were only for auction.Blatant lie.He refused to take me to the pre-owned cars, said the only ones they had were 2014 and up.He brought up a car that I repeatedly told him I did NOT want.To make this short,I am 66 years old and I was there for 6 HOURS.My car would not make it back to Michigan so I was stuck. The entire 6 hours I felt that I was brow beaten and told that they didn't have the cars I wanted. After 6 hours I was so stressed and near tears that I finally said F@#$ it and took the one that they had been shoving down my throat.I didn't even test drive it.So,I have a car that I don't want and by the way, when I left I drove right by the pre-owned lot that I was told didn't exist.

I will not stop until I get a meeting with Steve Taylor. I think the employees are keeping my complaints from him to save their jobs and it must stop.
Someone is going to get seriously hurt because of their incompetence. This is not right!
My favorite is when I took my Sorrento in because of a loud noise in the rear end. After they made it look worse than it was with six mechanics looking at it for a half hour, they told me I had to have the whole assembly replaced...assembly cost $1500+.
I took it somewhere else, bearings were replaced, I added a much need set of four tires and total bill was $1600. Don't go there....they will rip you off!!!!
Used Kia Soul From hail storm 2011
i purchased a 2011 Kia Soul felt robbed. Was not told it was from 2011 hail storm and had a dent on the back left fender very disappointed.
Now I'm paying over price on a car I am not happy with. I feel like the salesman took advantage of me. I needed a car real bad but was taken advantage of. If I can get rid of this Kia Soul I will not go to another Kia sales event again.
they said in a year I could bring it back and trade it in if I don't want to keep it. Well guess what they lied now I have to keep it and I am paying way too much on a car I don't want.

They charged me $8000 for a warranty on a Kia Forte. These people should be jailed and put out of business by the Attorney General.
